Afana

Afana is a young man who has alot of passion for music and have been doing music from infancy.Afana started as a sole singer at church and then formed his own singing group at the age of 8 years whiles he was also a member of a youth choir at his church.In 1998 afana and his friends (class and school mates) who were also good in singing made up their mind and then formed a strong acappella group(THE KEYS ACAPPELLA)when they found out that they really blend up with their voices when singing together at the time they were in junior high school. They had an opportunity to record jingles for some radios stations (love Fm,Ash-Radio etc) which really inspired afana and then pushed him to start writing lyrics and composing music for his group.after a couple of years the group became more stronger and famous due to that reason afana and his group decided to attend the same senior high school so that they can keep on doing their music as they further their education.In 2002 afana started working with different recording studio writing and singing for other artists and then later on started producing song for other musician and his group. After senior high school in 2004 afana was all arround known as a song writer/ artist and a music producer which persuaded him to take a course in sound engineering from the guffest music production.due to his effort,he was then employed to work as a song writer, producer and sound engineer which made afana feel himself as a real musician ontill now.the real afana always say music is a universal language, which communicates to everyone with a universal message. Afana move to Cyprus.He didn't stop what he was doing because its part of his life.He was also employed as a club dj as a part time and also as a residence dj for for one of the biggest club in Cyprus (RIVER REGGAE CLUB) in Ayia Napa whiles he was still working with other artist (Gore Melian, Vocaliz, Repa Outlaw, Mazout, IQ etc ) in the studio.he made friends,they were good and nice and then they became together as family. Afana produced songs for some artists to win competitions.After 3 years in cyprus, Afana produced a song (I WANNA THANK YOU) for Gore Melian for the 2009 Cyprus Eurovission song contest and it hard the third position.Afterward he produce Gore Melians album which was called I WANNA THANK YOU including songs like:Stop, Crazy Night, IA Budu Jzit, Don't Get Me Wrong,Hello My Baby, I Wanna Thank You and the Remix. A few months later Afana and vocaliz teamed up and then make an album called THE PAINFUL HEALING consisting 11 tracks with Hiphop, R&B and Reggae flavour which were also played on most of the cyprus radio stations especially the first single (UNDER THE SUN) on ENERGY FM, ZINETH FM ect all the sammer in 2009.
