Boomdabash vede la luce nel lontano 2002 come un classico jamaican sound system, fondato e messo al mondo da Blazon, attuale dj, sound engineer e produttore del quartetto. Lentamente Boomdabash muta, cambia progressivamente i connotati, percorrendo un sentiero di evoluzione artistica che lo guidano verso la realizzazione del primo lavoro ufficiale, "UNO"(2008 ELIANTO EDIZIONI). Del sound system ormai c'è rimasto ben poco e dopo l'incontro con Treble (ex Sud Sound System), Boomdabash diventa un gruppo musicale a tutti gli effetti.
