Yehudi Menuhin
111 Followers小提琴家、指挥家梅纽因，1916年4月22日出生于美国纽约，1999年3月12日在德国柏林逝世。梅纽因4岁学习小提琴，7岁以独奏家的身份与旧金山交响乐团合作演出，1929年在华尔特（Bruno Walter）指挥柏林爱乐下，于一场音乐会中演奏巴赫、贝多芬与布拉姆斯的小提琴协奏曲。梅纽因30年代到巴黎跟随安奈斯可学习，1932年在艾尔加亲自指挥下录制了艾尔加小提琴协奏曲。1950年后，梅纽因逐渐把演出重心放在指挥上。1958年到1968年担任巴斯音乐节总监，1969年在英国温莎创办梅纽因节庆管弦乐团。后来又创办梅纽因音乐学校。1987年与香港出版商合办亚洲青年管弦乐团，并担任该团音乐总监。英国皇室在1965授予梅纽因勋爵士称号，1993年被封为英国的终身勋爵。
