BTS

One of the biggest stars across the globe, BTS stand a chance to grab Artist of the Year, Song of the Year for Dynamite, Worldwide Fans’ Choice and more. Having won 9 awards in 2019 including clinching the all 4 Daesangs, can they do it again?

TWICE

Up there with BTS, TWICE garners 5 nominations at MAMA. Having beat BTS in history by setting a record of most Competitive Awards received at MAMA before, TWICE looks to do it again in 2020.

SEVENTEEN

Not only here to win awards in five of their nominations, be sure to be on the lookout for an electrifying performance by SEVENTEEN during the show too! If anyone knows how to stand out during an award show performance, it would be SEVENTEEN.

IZ*ONE

They might not have been able to perform last year, but they are surely here to make a statement at MAMA this time. With 5 nominations and this being quite possibly their last showing at MAMA, IZ*ONE will definitely be setting up a grand performance.

NCT

The whole gang unites to strike at MAMA! For the first time ever, the full team of 23 members are nominated. Prior to this, NCT have only managed to get nominated as their sub unit, NCT 127, and so can the power of friendship take them to victory here?

MAMAMOO

Standout solo performances by Hwasa who earned herself solo nominations means that MAMAMOO stands a chance to put their stamp at MAMA. with 5 for the group and 4 for Hwasa, it could very well be called MAMAMOO 2020!

TREASURE

The young stars show up! Having debuted only in August 2020, Treasure grabs 3 nominations this year. Being the first YG artist to attend MAMA in 5 years, this could pave the way for more artists from YG, namely BLACKPINK, to show up to MAMA.

Tomorrow X Together (TXT)

They are named for always being there for each other in the future, and they want you to be a part of their upcoming celebrations at MAMA. Think they can snag the Song of the Year award? Perhaps even the Best Dance Performance by a Male Group?

With GOT7 releasing a new album in the same week as 2020 MAMA, there could be a very special performance by them during the show. Spicing things up are their 3 nominations, including Artist of the Year. If you’re a fan, it’s not to be missed!

Looking to keep their streak alive, Monsta X has won at least one award for MAMA every year. Being globally popular means they are quite a favourite for the global choice awards.
