Mitchell Vines

Tia Roper was born and raised in Queens, New York. She began her flute studies at the age of ten after members of the school band came to her class to demonstrate several different instruments. "I fell in love with the flute immediately." Tia later attended LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and the Juilliard Pre-College program.
