Yes. For the first time you enter MY MUSIC page, JOOX scans your mobile for music files and import them to JOOX.

You can also add music on your mobile to JOOX manually. Tap on “MY MUSIC -> Imported Songs” and tap on the scanning icon on the top right corner. After your local songs have been imported, they are sorted according to track, artist and album.

How do I log into JOOX?

You can log into JOOX with your WeChat ID, Facebook account, or email address.

VIP purchased as a guest can only be accessed on the device you used to buy it. By having your account linked, you can access VIP on any other device.

Will my playlists change if I log into JOOX using a different device?

By logging into JOOX using your WeChat account, your playlist data will be saved on our cloud library. Therefore, when you log into JOOX on another device with the same WeChat ID, your previous playlist data will be synced automatically.

How do I turn off network data alert?

You can turn off non-Wi-Fi network data alert for streaming by tapping on "Profile Picture -> Settings -> Non-Wi-Fi Network Alert". If turned off, you will not be notified of data consumption.

You can turn off non-Wi-Fi network alert for downloading by tapping on "Profile Image-> Settings -> Download via Wi-Fi Only". If turned off, you will not be notified of data consumption.

Please be cautious with this as streaming or downloading music on your data network may incur charges.

Where can I view my data usage on JOOX?

You can view image and offline song storage by tapping on " Profile Image -> Settings ->Clear Data".

If you want to free up memory used by images, you can click "Clear Image Cache" and confirm your operation to reclaim storage.

If you want to clear offline songs or cached songs in recently played, you can click "Clear Offline Songs" or “Clear Cached Songs” and confirm your operation.

Where can I select online streaming quality?

You can select your desired streaming quality by tapping on "Profile Picture -> Settings -> Streaming Quality".You can then change the settings on the same page based your demand.

VIP users can also select "High" sound quality on Wi-Fi to enjoy exclusive CD-sound music online.

Where can I select download quality?

If you are a VIP user, you can select your desired sound quality on "Profile Picture-> Settings -> Download Quality". The "Medium" download quality (3M-4M per track) is set for this option by default.

How can I upgrade my JOOX version?

When a new JOOX version is released, JOOX will be automatically updated if you have turned on “Auto Updates” on App Store/Google Play.

On Android, there will also be a notification inside the App. After confirming on JOOX, you will switch to App Store/Google Play for upgrade. If you want to upgrade it manually, you can view the current version on "Profile Image -> Settings -> About JOOX". If there is a new version available, tap on the version number to switch to App Store/Google Play. If your current version is the latest one, you will see a pop-up saying "You are using the latest version of JOOX".

Non-VIP users can select their favorite songs and albums by tapping on Shuffle Play. However, VIP users can shuffle songs with one tap and play their favourite songs on demand.

Can I skip songs quickly?

You can skip songs on the play page or by pressing and releasing the vinyl record icon on the left corner.

What top charts does JOOX offer?

You can view all top charts and play your favorite hit parades by tapping on "DISCOVER" -> "More>" in the right part of "JOOX Top Charts".

What is the ranking basis of JOOX Top Charts?

JOOX Top Charts are based on the number of active users. On JOOX, you can listen to hit parades from your local region, Korean, European and American and South Africa. You won't miss any new and hit songs.

What is Editors' Picks?

Editors' Picks refer to playlists created by JOOX Editor Team to tailor your taste, which involve different music themes and moods. You can listen to good music without doing any further selection.

On the DISCOVER page, you can click the "More>" icon on the bottom of Editors’ Picks to view all recommended songs and play your favorite songs.

What is JOOX Radio?

JOOX Radio provides easy-to-play programs. You can enjoy your favourite music here and immerse yourself with lyrical melody.

How do I search my favorite artists, albums or songs?

On the DISCOVER page, you can enter artists, albums and songs on the search box and tap "Search" to find relevant results.

Why I can't find my searched artists, albums or songs?

Be sure to check that the song title and artist name is spelt correctly. Correct key words can help you find your results more accurately.

You can delete your offline songs by tapping on “MY MUSIC -> My Favourites -> "..." button on the right part of the songs”, and confirm your deletion.

How do I create my own playlists?

You can create new playlists on "MY MUSIC -> My Playlists -> "..." ->New playlist", and enter a name for it.

Or you can do that when playing or adding songs on the playlist or play page.

How do I delete playlists?

You can delete your selected playlist by tapping on "MY MUSIC -> ... ->Delete playlist", and click the "-" red icon on the top right.

Please note that, all downloaded and favorite songs in this playlist will be deleted.

What is offline listening?

JOOX VIP allows you to download and listen to your music as often as you like, with or without network connection, data free.

How do I download music offline?

You can download your favorite songs by tapping on the "download" button on the right part of the songs on the album or playlist page.

How do I download the whole playlist/album?

You can download the whole playlist by clicking the download button on the playlist/album page.

Do downloaded songs require memory?

Yes, downloaded songs take up memory on your phone. You can view their storage usage by tapping on “Profile Image-> Settings ->Clear Data”.

If you want to clear offline songs, you can click "Clear Offline Songs" and confirm your operation.

How do I delete downloaded songs?

You can delete your downloaded songs by tapping on "MY MUSIC ->Offline Songs ->...", and confirm your deletion.

Or you can delete and add your unwanted songs in batch by clicking the edit button on the “Offline Songs” page.

Will JOOX be closed when it runs in the background?

If you don't play songs on JOOX, JOOX will be closed 10 minutes after running in the background. We suggest you shall keep songs playing on JOOX when you use it, so that your experience won't compromise.

How do I share songs?

You can tap the "..." button on right part of songs on the album or playlist page (or the "..." button below on the play page), and select your desired social platform. After sharing, you can return to JOOX.
